Between you and Anil Kumar Singh, trading as BugCapture ("we", "us"), governing your use of the BugCapture service. Effective 4 August 2026.
By creating an account you accept these terms.
1. What BugCapture is
A browser extension and web dashboard for capturing bug reports — a screenshot plus the technical context around it — and filing them into your issue tracker.
2. Your account
You must be 16 or older and give an accurate email address. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anyone you invite to your workspace.
One person, one account. Don't share sign-in credentials — invite people to the workspace instead.
3. Plans and payment
| Plan | Price | Includes |
|---|---|---|
| Free | Free | 25 reports per calendar month, 5 reporters per workspace, unlimited viewers, all integrations, 5 screen recordings per workspace per month at up to 60 seconds each |
| Team | ₹599 per reporter / month, or ₹5,990 per reporter / year in India US$9 per reporter / month, or US$90 per reporter / year elsewhere | Up to 500 reports per workspace per calendar month, unlimited reporters, unlimited viewers, all integrations, 100 minutes of screen recording per workspace per calendar month at up to 3 minutes each. Web capture only. |
Yearly is charged once and works out at ten months for twelve.
Launch pricing. ₹599 / US$9 is a launch price; the regular price is ₹799 per reporter / month (₹7,990 per year) in India and US$12 per month (US$90 per year) elsewhere. We may end launch pricing for new subscriptions at any time.
If you subscribe during launch pricing, you keep it. A price change never affects a period you have already paid for, and it does not apply to your renewals either, for as long as your subscription stays active. Launch pricing is recorded on your subscription when your first payment is taken. If your subscription lapses and you start a new one, the price then current applies.
How long screenshots and recordings are kept. Screenshots, full-page shots, report.json and screen recordings are kept 30 days on Free, counted from when the report was filed. On Team nothing expires while the subscription is active — however old a report is, its files are kept. After that we delete those files; the report itself stays — title, description, environment, severity, console and network summary are not removed, and the report reads "Screenshot expired".
If a Team subscription ends, we keep everything for a further 1 year from the date it ended — not from the date of each report — and then remove the files for that workspace together. Resubscribing at any point within that year keeps everything. We show a warning in the product for 30 days before the deletion.
Which window applies is decided when the expiry runs, not when you filed, so upgrading immediately stops your existing reports expiring. Deleting a report deletes its files immediately, on any plan.
Expiry removes our copy only. If you filed a report to an issue tracker or chat tool — Jira, GitHub, Linear, ClickUp, Notion, Trello, Asana, Azure Boards, Sentry or Slack — the screenshot and details were uploaded into that tool and are that tool's data from then on. They do not expire with ours and we cannot remove them. Deleting them is done in that tool, under your own retention rules.
A reporter is anyone in your workspace whose role lets them create reports (admins and members). Viewers are free on every plan, in any number — they can read every report in the workspace but cannot create, edit or delete anything. You are billed for the reporters in your workspace, and changing someone's role changes what your next invoice counts.
Which price applies is determined by your billing country. Taxes (GST where applicable) are charged in addition where the law requires it.
Enterprise is not available yet. Where the site mentions it, it describes planned work, not something you can buy or rely on.
Mobile app capture is not part of any plan. The Free and Team plans cover capture from a web browser. Capture from inside a mobile app is sold separately and arranged with us directly — no plan entitles you to it, and nothing on the site should be read as including it.
About the free limit: 25 reports per calendar month is a total for your account, across every workspace — not per workspace, so creating more workspaces does not give you more reports. It resets at the start of each calendar month (UTC) and unused reports do not carry over. Deleting reports does not free up allowance within the same month — the counter only ever goes up, and resets by the month turning over rather than by anything you delete.
Free was a lifetime allowance of 20 reports until 4 August 2026. If you used that allowance up, you have 25 reports again from the calendar month in which this change took effect — the old lifetime total is not carried forward against you.
About screen recordings on Free: 5 recordings per workspace per calendar month, up to 60 seconds each. Screenshots and full-page shots are not affected by this limit — only recordings. Recordings you delete do not free up allowance within the same month.
About the Team limit: 500 reports per calendar month applies to each workspace, not to each person — everyone in a workspace draws from the same allowance, so five reporters share 500 rather than having 500 each. It resets at the start of each calendar month (UTC), and unused reports do not carry over. Deleting reports does not free up allowance within the same month. Your current usage is shown on your Billing page so you can see it before you reach it. If you need more, contact us and we will raise it — the limit exists to stop automated misuse, not to stop you working.
About screen recordings on Team: unlimited in number, up to 3 minutes each, within 100 minutes of total recording per workspace per calendar month. Like the report allowance, it belongs to the workspace rather than to each person — everyone in a workspace draws from the same 100 minutes. It resets at the start of each calendar month (UTC) and unused minutes do not carry over; deleting a recording does not free up allowance within the same month.
Your remaining recording time is shown on your Billing page, so you can see it before you reach it, and the recorder will shorten a take that would exceed it rather than letting you record something that cannot be saved. Screenshots and full-page capture are never affected by this limit — only recordings. If you need more, contact us and we will raise it.
This limit was stated as 800 MB of recording storage until 8 August 2026. The allowance is the same size — it is measured the same way and simply described in minutes, which is the unit the product now shows you.
How you buy and pay
In the product. A workspace admin opens Settings → Billing and pays by card or UPI. Payments are processed by Razorpay; we never see or store your card details. The price is calculated from the number of reporters in your workspace at the moment you buy — the amount is always shown before you pay.
Only a workspace admin can buy. Other members are shown who to ask.
By invoice. If you would rather pay by bank transfer, email qatoolshub@gmail.com with your workspace name and how many members you need, and we will reply with an invoice. We never ask for card details by email, and you should never send them.
- Team is enabled on your workspace as soon as the payment clears
- Nothing renews automatically. No card is stored and no recurring charge is ever set up. A payment buys one period; when it ends, the workspace returns to the Free plan on its own
- We may remind you before a period ends, but you are never charged without starting a new payment yourself
Because nothing auto-renews, there is nothing to cancel. To stop, simply don't pay again — or tell us, and we'll stop sending reminders.
What happens when a paid period ends. The workspace returns to Free. Your reports are not deleted and your data is not touched. The free limits apply again: new captures stop once you have used 25 reports in the current calendar month, and workspaces over 5 reporters keep their members but cannot add more. Pay an invoice and full access resumes immediately.
Files kept during a paid period are not deleted the moment it ends — see the retention section above. We keep them for a further year from the date the subscription ended, and resubscribing within that year keeps everything.
Refunds: if BugCapture doesn't work for you, email us within 14 days of a payment and we'll refund it in full. After that we refund the unused part of a period at our discretion. Duplicate charges, and charges where the plan never activated, are refunded whenever they happened. The full policy — including how to ask and how long it takes — is in Refunds and Cancellations.
Prices can change with 30 days' notice. A change never affects a period you have already paid for.
4. What you may not do
- Capture pages you have no right to test
- Use it to collect personal data about people without a lawful basis
- Resell or white-label it without a written agreement
- Attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service, or to another customer's data
- Upload malware, or content that is illegal where you or we are
We may suspend an account that does these things. Where we reasonably can, we'll tell you first.
5. Your data
You own your bug reports and everything in them. We store and process them to run the service and for nothing else — we do not sell them, mine them, or train models on them.
How data is handled is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
You are responsible for what you capture. BugCapture collects whatever is on the page you point it at. If that page holds someone else's personal data, you are the one who decided to collect it, and you need a lawful basis for doing so. Storage, cookies and network bodies are off by default and a blocked-sites list is provided; use them.
Deletion: delete reports at any time. To remove an account entirely, email qatoolshub@gmail.com and we will action it within 30 days.
Retention: reports themselves are never deleted automatically — the title, description, environment, severity, and console and network summary stay until you remove them. What does expire is the attached files: screenshots, full-page shots, report.json and screen recordings. The windows are set out in section 3 — 30 days on Free, nothing while a Team subscription is active, and one year from the date a Team subscription ends.
6. Integrations
Connecting Jira, GitHub or ClickUp means giving us a credential to act on your behalf. We store it where no browser can read it and use it only to do what you asked.
Those services are not ours. We aren't responsible for their availability, their pricing, or what they do with data once you file an issue there.
7. Availability, plainly stated
BugCapture is run by a very small team and is provided on a best-effort basis. There is no uptime guarantee and no service credit.
We aim to keep it running and to fix problems quickly, but there may be periods — including extended ones — where support is slow or the service is unavailable. If that is unacceptable for your use, please don't rely on BugCapture for business-critical work.
Your bug reports are stored in Google Cloud with its durability guarantees, but keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. You can export a report at any time.
8. No warranty
The service is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that captured evidence will be complete or accurate for any particular purpose.
In particular, automatic redaction is best-effort pattern matching and cannot be relied on to remove sensitive data. Do not treat it as a compliance control.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to BugCapture is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose — and if you are on the free plan, to nothing.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss: lost profits, lost data, lost business, or the cost of substitute services.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Ending the agreement
You may stop at any time by not paying the next invoice, or by deleting your account outright.
We may terminate if you materially breach these terms, or with 30 days' notice for any reason — in which case we refund the unused part of anything you have paid.
On termination you can export your data for 30 days, after which we may delete it.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email to workspace admins at least 30 days beforehand. Continuing to use BugCapture after that means you accept them; if you don't, cancel and we'll refund the unused period.
12. Law
Governed by the laws of India, whose courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
